Where we process personal data, we do so on one of the legal bases set out in Article 6 (1) GDPR:

When you visit our website, we record the date and time of access to ensure the security and stability of the service. We do not collect IP addresses in a form that allows us to identify you personally. This processing is based on our legitimate interest in operating a secure website (Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR).

Our website is hosted on Azure Static Web Apps, a service provided by Microsoft Ireland Operations Limited. When you access the site, the hosting provider’s servers process technical connection data, including the date and time of access, in server log files. This processing is carried out on the basis of our legitimate interest in the reliable and secure provision of our website (Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR).

We only use technically necessary cookies that are required for the basic functionality of the website. These cookies are stored temporarily and are deleted at the end of your browser session. We do not use tracking or advertising cookies.

If you contact us via our contact form or by email (info@dataspacesolutions.com), we process the data you provide - such as your name, email address, message content and the time of contact - in order to respond to your enquiry. The legal basis is Art. 6 (1) (b) GDPR where your request relates to a contract, otherwise our legitimate interest in answering enquiries (Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR). This data is deleted once your enquiry has been dealt with, at the latest after seven days, unless we are legally required to retain it.

If you register to use our services, we process your email address for the purpose of providing and administering the service (Art. 6 (1) (b) GDPR). This data is stored for as long as necessary to perform the contract.

We maintain a company profile on LinkedIn for corporate communications and recruitment. When you interact with our profile, LinkedIn processes your personal data as an independent controller under its own privacy policy. Data you send us through LinkedIn is used to respond to your message.

Under the GDPR, you have the right to:

• Request access to the personal data we hold about you (Art. 15 GDPR);
• Request the correction of inaccurate data (Art. 16 GDPR);
• Request the erasure of your data (Art. 17 GDPR);
• Request the restriction of processing (Art. 18 GDPR);

You also have the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority. The authority responsible for us is the State Commissioner for Data Protection and Freedom of Information of Rhineland-Palatinate.
